Large and well-respected aerospace manufacturer in San Diego is currently seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join their growing team.
SUMMARY:
The CNC Programmer provides support for the effective manufacture of close tolerance machined parts through development, testing and maintenance of numeric control programs by creating, proofing and maintaining the N. C. data.
– Evaluates engineering designs and determines the most economical sequence for part(s) manufacturing, maintaining the highest possible aerospace quality standards.
-Encodes programs for 3, 4, and 5 axis machines, prepares set-up data, post & encodes data to the proper equipment and pre-proofs data prior to match-proofing and machining operation.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Vocation Training Certification preferred
-5 + years experience developing CNC Programs in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace
-5+ years experience using NX 6+ and Pro-E
-Have experience with vericut or post processors
-Have experience in a metals machining and metal processing
-Intermediate skills in MS Office
-Must be able to work in a team environment
-Must be able to meet ITAR citizenship requirements
